Richard Petty's Short Track Dart

Note From Wayne:
"This is an original issue Richard Petty dart body. I bought it at a garage sale for ten dollars. The left front fender was broken at the top of the wheel opening so I had to graft it back together. There were a lot of missing pieces so it just was stuffed in a box and put up for future considerations.

When AMT reissued the Warren Stewert Dodge Dart short track car I was overjoyed. Out came the Petty Dart and I started building. The only parts I used from the Petty Dart were the body, windshield, rearend housing, rear springs and floor pan. Everything else came from the reissue. The car was pretty rough and is my first restoration attempt.
