For the chapter on building a multi-media resin kit, I used this Eztel Kurtis. This is a late car, about '54 or '55, and depicts a fuel-injected Offy. The car is the Hoover Motor Express car from Nashville, TN. I chose it primarily because it wasn't WHITE. Most of the cars on Etzel's decal sheet are essentially all white. I didn't have time to do an elaborate masking job, and I already have too many RED cars, so it orange it was.
I had a little fun with the exhaust pipe. If you look close, you can see blue and yellow discoloration on the header, joint, and tail pipe. I did that with Tamiya Clear Acrylics. These are great little models, and very well done. Chris Etzel does extraordinary work. You do need to do a lot of test fitting, but if you're patient you'll be rewarded. It takes some fiddling, but it's surprisingly easy to put together, even with suspensions totaling nearly a dozen parts per axle!
The photo with the Goodwrench Monte Carlo gives you an idea of relative size. "
