The driver was Dave Scarborough, he drove latelmodels, sprint cars and other divisions as well. He raced this 55 Chevy in the 70s at Golden Gate Speedway in Tampa FL., and won many times in it. Dave is one the legends in the state of Florida, winning races and championships over two to three decades. The Fantastic 8 was one of the fans favorites every time on the track. The body is a metal die-case body, that had a chopped roof on it. I had to cut and raise the roof back to its normal position. I had to use a disk grinder to trim the fender whales, cut and trim the door hedges off, and other areas to set the body on a regular plastic frame and roll cage. The decals are by Les Smirle from Bullring Graphix. "
