Dick Trickle's #99 Torino LMS - 1971 Version

Notes from Rod:

"Before the famous Mustang, Dick Trickle won a pile of races from 1969-1971 racing a Torino all around Wisconsin and surrounding area. It was also purple and white, and carried his familiar #99.

This build is from the Modified Stocker kit with some lowering and more appropriate tires from the Super Stocker. The deep dish slotted wheels are from Fred's Resin Workshop. This is the 1971 season version, but the decals will also be available to do the 1969 and 1970 each with slightly different numbers and various sponsor decal differences.

I chose to build the one with Long Branch Bar on the rear quarters as it just seemed appropriate to the hard charging and partying Trickle. The tiny decals all over the side and in between the numbers are Midwest Racing News victory stickers. Kind of hard to read in 1/25 scale."
