George Parrish's 1957 Studebaker - Southern 500

"...this model is a diecast 1/43 from SOLIDO.
I saw b/w pics of that racer in the Darlington book , then on Studebaker website. Then I remembered that a color picture was on the title page of " Illustrated History of Stock Car Racing" by Don Hunter & Al Pearce. After searching Parrish position on starting grid , the car is "easily" viewable on that color photo, so the Studebaker Golden Hawk seems to be ... golden.

The rest of decaling is according to b/w pics & from what I imagine it could have been: not 100% accurate (far from it...) but nice & not so far however from reality, at least I suppose.. if some one can send pics in color, please"
