...I stripped the car down to bare metal, buffed it out with a bench buffer and jeweler's rouge to a high shine. Then shot it with transparent paint, (candys). I prefer House of Kolor laquer paints for this job, it's kinda high, but covers good. I have used Testors candys through my airbrush and they worked fine, just used about a half of a can on one car. It's quite a job but the end results are worth it.My better half says that buffing to chrome thing won't work to good on plastic. :-)
