Notes from Lui:

"I was just a kid when my uncle bought Flamboro Speedway, and not much older when he bought Pinecrest too.. I used a 1/24 scale again for this ride and it's a revell 71 Plymouth GTX. i started scratch building the cage and removin unwanted chassis items... Disected and raised control arms and used gussets for strength on bars..built a tank, and closed off the back and installed an exhaust Shield...Closed off tail lights, painted engine, and scratch built tank protect bar.

I used the numbers from the BULLRING Scannell sheet, but thats all.. The rest was from other Slixx Sheets.


Further Notes from Rod:
"This was one of my favourite short trackers of that era. This scheme ran in 1972, in 1973 they had a second car in the stable a blue,white, red Charger to use at mainly at Cayuga in the colours of Kleen-Flo "

Note from Mr NASCAR:
"Lui's uncle owned two Toronto-area tracks :Flamboro from 68-71 and Pinecrest from71-75, He owned both in 1971 then sold Flamboro and kept Pinecrest. Lui is a member of Group 25."
