Notes From Jim:
"This is the late Rick Knotts from 1976. Rick was a heck of a racer not known to many outside the state of Michigan. He always had nice looking fast race cars. He did real well in ASA, winning many times against some tough rivals. Rick left us too early in a tragic crash at Daytona in 1980.

I was fortunate to see him race at Toledo Speedway when I was young. I think his best years were in 1978 /1979 driving the red #3 camaro which someday might get built.

Super stocker chassis with Fred's seat and fuel cell. Fantastic decals from Rod and Les at Bullring. This and the many other short track builds would not be possible with out their work! Thanks guys"
