Dale Earnhardt Jr's 2002 #8 Gossamer Looney Tunes Rematch Monte Carlo

" First of all, a little background on this car. Dale Jr. won the Funai 250 on September 6, 2002. He led 190 of 250 laps. Car was decaled using JWTBM decals. I used Black Gold's Tangelo Pearl Orange for the paint. I modified the "kickout" of the nose by cutting vertical slits every 1cm or so. Then I bent them outwards to get the kickout look. To make sure the nose was sturdy while I was adding putty and sanding, I took a piece of Strip Styrene and glued it on the inside of the nose. I scratch built the roof cam, TV panel cam, Earnhardt Bar, and the antennas. I tried to pay attention to every detail so basically what you see here is the way Dale Jr's car looked when he won that race.
