Dale Earnhardt Jr's 2008 AMP Michigan Winning Impala

"After seeing Dale Jr. win at the track in person and being a big Jr. fan, I tried to replicate Dale Jr's Michigan winner from 2008. I got plenty of reference pics I took from the pits and from online photo sources. Basically what you see on this car is what Dale Jr. raced to win that day.

I sanded down the leftside side skirt just like on the real car. The little black dots on the front bumper were actually on there as well. I used Mike's Scale Speed Shop's Chevy Impala COT resin body with a donor kit. I painted it Tamiya Metallic Green and Pure White and used Powerslide decals. I made my own antennas, front splitter and splitter support brackets, and roof cam. I am pleased to say I'm very proud of the outcome considering this is my first COT build."
