Dale Earnhardt's 1976 Hy-Gain Chevy Laguna

I painted it with Krylon Fusion Gloss White with Krylon Fusion Satin Black for the chassis. Bumper was stripped and I added Bare Metal Foil, which to me, didn't turn out very good...oh well. I tried to lower the stance of the car a bit by bending the rear end upwards and it sort of worked. I still don't like how the back of the car is jacked up a tad. Again, oh well lol.

I followed Dave Van's tutorial on the chassis modifications which helped. The plastic exhaust dumps that came with the kit were replaced with actual metal tubing painted flat white. I replaced the kit issued seat with a Mustang style seat from an old Monogram kit and I added seat belts using medical tape and Detail Master hardware. I also added my own window net using medical tape and drywall mesh tape. Roof antenna was made using Styrene rod drilled out and a guitar string. Car was clear coated with 2 coats of Future Floor Wax"
