Benny Parsons' #35 Green 1987 Folgers Monte Carlo

Comment from Jeff:
"The chassis was red in every picture I saw of the car. So like the #25 version I built, the chassis is painted with Tremclad Regal Red over Tremclad Red Oxide Rust Primer. The body was painted with Rust-O-Leum Painter's Touch Hunter Green. Basically, the closest thing I could find to Testor's regular green, which I did not want to use. The gold on the bottom is Tamiya Gold (TS-21). I used the Powerslide decals for this and for the tires too. Car was clear coated with 1 coat of Future.

I did some minor modifications and added a few details. I removed the existing window net and added a better looking one. In different pictures I saw, the window net was also black, so I made mine black. I added seatbelts using medical tape colored with a black Sharpie. I sanded down the bottom of the hood pins a bit so they'd sit a bit better and be more flush with the body. Added a fuel overflow tube using a metal tube. And finally I added a roof antenna using Styrene rod for the base and a guitar string for the rod (which you can see, is crooked because of the windy conditions outside). "
