Alan Kulwicki won the 1992 NASCAR Winston Cup Champion by leading one more lap than Bill Elliott.
This kit was built before the Hooters kit was released. No-name decals were used for the numbers and graphics with Slixx contingency decals. The T-bird was built mostly stock. A bit of sheet plastic was added behind the hood beak, between the headlight per the standard T-bird nose. A reinforcing crossbar was added in front of the engine and the shocks moved ahead of the suspension. A little bit of foil was used for detailing. Inside Winston Cup newspaper and Stock Car Racing magazine were great references for Alan’s car and T-birds in general."
