Steve Park's 2000 Pennzoil Chevrolet Monte Carlo
(Daytona 500 version)

The model was built completely box stock, with the exception of the decals which were printed by Wetworks. I sanded the lower front grill off the model and used decal film to simulate the tape across the front of the grills. The upper grill was done by cutting a piece of film to cover the grill area, and then cutting a small section out of the grill decal and laying it down directly over the decal film. I used a Dale Earnhardt 2000 Monte Carlo model kit.

The yellow is Pennzoil yellow paint from Model Car World. The black is Model Master. The car was then cleared with several coats of automotive clear coat, and then rubbed out with novus "
