"......I know....WRONG YEAR!!
I got the Zerex kit and built it as the Underbird, and set off in search of another T-bird to do the Zerex car. I knew AMT had made blank T-Bird kits, and looked far and wide with no luck.

My wife came home from out of town and handed me the kit with a story about how hard it was to come by, so, mentioning the facts would not have been good for my health, and a late model Zerex car was born.

Another red interior (sigh). Tamiya Pure White finished the body, and the decals went on well with a little trimming to make up for the scale difference.

I still think AMT made a pretty good kit with more detail then the Revel-o-gram offerings. It would be nice to see them back and get some competition going!!"

(Note from Mr NASCAR: Bill is a fellow Canuck, in fact he lives in my old stompin' grounds, in Eastern Ontario...)
