"Backdated from a 1974 Starter resin kit into a 1972 car. Completely scratch built interior, and the body was shortened about 1/8" behind the rear wheels. The two tone red and petty blue paint job is done with custom made decals cut from neon red stock with numerous templates! The white pinstriping was applied separately. Photo etched hood pins, grill material and interior components are custom made. Petty's unique round tube headrest was also duplicated. Paint is Dupont base/clear. This model was built as a commissioned work, and, yes, I still do take orders occasionally."
