"The car I sent you is based on an original UK stockcar #260; as my racing number is 62 I copied everything and changed the numbers. I've attached some photo's of his car, the body I've done is earlier than the car photographed but the theme of his cars have always been the same...Roof spoilers are no good on a slot cars due to them getting in the way when people are trying to put the cars back into the slot after a pile up in the corners!

My slotcar body is supplied from a guy in the UK, the body is just a standard styrene vac form. He has many different types all based on UK stockcars, and although they vary in shape he has scaled them to fit the chassis which he also manufactures.I take the blank vac form, cutout the windows and apply the paint. The chassis is a bespoke design made from piano wire and brass plate to withstand the contact in the corners. All of the running gear is supplied by Parma in the US and this guy is the UK supplier for Parma parts."
