"This car was supposed to be the primary car for the 1973 season... but DW rolled the car during practice for the 1st race of the season at Nashville....the Flameless 300. The backup '64 Chevelle was rolled out finished 2nd that night to L.D. Ottinger. 1966 was never used very often the rest of the season by DW. However it was used by several visiting drivers for bigger races (such as Jack Ingram)."
